As most of you already know the JBFC has always supported The Roy Rogers’ Happy Trails Foundation for severely abused children, but when I was approached with a request from a family I have known since first grade to help support their event I was happy to help. They are good people who have taken the tragedy of losing a loved one and turned it into something positive that helps others. Take a look at the flyer explaining what they are doing and especially at the flyer for the event.  Although this is not an official JBFC sponsored event, Jim Brown and his family will be there, so come on down and get your bowl on with Jim Brown and the JBFC for a worthwhile cause.

Although walk-ins the night of the event are welcome, they prefer to know who is coming so they can reserve the lanes. Here is a message from them on how to do it:

Contact me at 949.798.1334 or ccwiertny@gmail.com.  They can mail a check and we’ll send the tickets/put name on list or they can go the MCMF website (www.mattcwiertnymemorialfoundation.com) and hit “donate” and make a $30 donation (or $60 or whatever proper amount is for number of tickets) with a note in “instructions to seller” box that it is for Bowl-A-Rama tickets.  We’ll then mail the tickets to them.
